Stages 9 to 13
Middleton-in-Teesdale to Malham, Days 3 and 4.

Louise takes a drink on her stage from Teesdale to the A66 with Annette.

Annette contemplates a plunge

OK Phil - so the baton might look a *little* bit phallic.......

The hardships of the challenge walker - Jasper arrives at the Tan Hill Inn. It's open, but he's in too much of a hurry........

INTERLUDE

DUE TO A LOST CAMERA WE ARE UNABLE TO BRING YOU PHOTOS FROM STAGES 11 &12,
IN WHICH MARK AND KAREN TOOK ON GREAT SHUNNER FELL AT NIGHT, AND HELEN AND PHILIP
WALKED FROM HAWES TO HORTON-IN-RIBBLESDALE IN THE DARK AND THE MIST.

TO MAKE UP FOR THIS OMISSION, WE HAVE, AT GREAT EXPENSE, COMMISSIONED AN ARTISTS IMPRESSION
OF BOTH STAGES:

(ok - it may have been darker...)

6am day 4; Michelle, Mike and Will - Support crew waiting for Helen and Philip to arrive at the end of their overnight stage.

Philip hands the baton over to Emma at speed.

Set the task of catching up over an hour, Wendy and Emma walked so quickly they only had time to
take one photo - this one of Wendy on top of one of the hills - Pen-y-Ghent?
By the end of their stage the challenge was back on schedule........
