Stages 1 to 4
Kirk Yetholm to Greenhead, Days 1 and 2.

Rich, Jim, John, Nick, Kate and Michelle. Walkers and support gather at the start.

Mike hands over the baton to John and Jim.

Jim and John plan a visit for some penial revival... Captions welcome!

The intrepid duo set off on the long road south...

Jim on the Cheviots, whilst the daylight lasted.

Jim, baton grasped firmly, defends his rock.

Dusk on the first day. There was a long night ahead, full of bogs and trees.

There were a lack of comfortable places to have a rest, so the team had to keep going!

John discovers with concern that gamekeepers aren't the only dangerous things on the Cheviots.

Rich Cox surveys the dawn on day two, as the team pass by Kielder Forest.

Rich and Jim sprint into Bellingham Youth Hostel, half an hour ahead of schedule.

Jim Heath enjoys a quiet rest after his 60km overnight epic.

Stage Three. Ed finds a helpful signpost.

Ed sprints up to the support crew at the half way point in stage 3.
Careful Ed - don't run too far ahead! :)

Phil strides purposefully through the Wark Forest.

The first glimpse of Hadrian's Wall. "Claymores to the ready... ATTAAAAAACK!"

Looking east along Hadrian's Wall.

Ed and Mike pull a cracker (don't tell Jess or Michelle!)

Will puts on a brave face during his solo attempt on Hadrian's Wall.
