Millennium Trip To Dingle, Co. Kerry
OK - so it wasn't the Millennium proper, but it was the end of the 90's!
Twenty or so Hikers braved the Irish Sea and a crossing of the Emerald Isle to pop out into the unexpected sunshine of Dingle.
This was, I'm pleased to recall, the perfect way to see in the year 2000.
More photos to come soon.

New Year's Eve itself was spent in the confortable surroundings of the Smallbridge Inn
(An Droicead Beag). There was some high quality folk music to be enjoyed, and an amusing
game of "pass the vacuum-packed cheddar cheese" (our cheap but cheerful mascot).
Even the locals joined in - and when you see Mark in action you can see why...

It was in the middle of all the fun and excitement that Jake's nose exploded.
