Crammed full of insult and
obscenity - another classic, possibly best remembered for Mad
Jim's entries... most notably the still famous "Story of Eek"...
The Interesting Driving of Ashley...
Ever been sitting in the back of a Marshalls minibus as it
approaches light speed, too terrified to speak and sweating with
raw, animal fear? Then these pages are probably not for you...

The Wit and Wisdom of Geraint Jones.
The Logbook has never been a forum for
equipment reviews, but Geraint Jones, Club President and former Equipment Officer,
here made an exception.
The Howgills, 1993
A trip which generated quite some logbook activity.
Firstly Mad Jim presents a delightful view
of the area, only to completely lower
the tone...
The Club has recently contained some avid climbers. This Howgills
trip presented an excellent opportunity for several of them to
get things a little bit wrong... Several wet Hikers later, Cautley Spout had been
conquered... sort of.
EEK!!!
In a time when it seemed fashionable for Hiking Club blokes to
have long hair, someone had to come up with a reason... Colin's
hair was perhaps the fluffiest, and a whole epic tale was
constructed by Mad Jim and Loopy Laura to explain this. Enter the
tale of EEK! - not for the particularly religious or remotely
sane amongst you...
