Summer Gatherings at the Frocester Beer Festival
The Frocester Beer Festival (or 'Costa Frocester' as some of the local crowd would have it) has become something of an unofficial LUHC annual gathering over the years, both for current members and alumni ('alumni', I am told, is the PC term, currently favoured over 'old gits', 'hangers-on', or 'coffin-dodgers' etc.). However, some are pretty old - and certain veterans haven't missed a single year since 1992 (naming no names...). For Costa Frocester virgins, the location is about 10 miles south of Gloucester; the time, every August bank holiday weekend - so there's no excuse not to be there next time! Warning: what follows is probably best appreciated after about 10 pints... | |||||||
