Wasdale Weekend
19th - 21st April 2002
Organiser: Helen Clayton
It's been a while since many of us ventured into Wasdale so it's
time to rectify matters! Helen is organising a camping weekend at
the National Trust campsite (the one by the lake), and this should
give all of us the chance to reacquaint ourselves with the likes
of Scafell Pike, Kirk Fell, Pillar etc...
There's also the lure of the famous Wasdale Head Inn for evening pintage,
scene of many a famous Roses encounter with York University Mountaineers
involving 16 hastily downed pints of best bitter...
Come along now... everyone's welcome!
If you fancy coming along then you can just turn up, but if you want
to make sure we know you're coming and to
ensure there's space for your tent then just email
us.

to Nether Wasdale, otherwise head round the coast to pick up roads to Nether Wasdale.
From Nether Wasdale head northeast up the side of Wastwater towards Wasdale Head, but before you reach
