Buttermere Weekend
21st - 23rd September 2001
Organiser: Lindsay Woodward A trip to Glen Shiel was originally planned for this weekend, however, we have decided instead to pay a visit to the beautiful Lake District for a weekend with much less travel involved, and consequently much more time in the pub! We will be staying at Syke Farm campsite, near to the Bridge Hotel - where we will be stationed early on Friday evening for my birthday drink, and again on Saturday night! The cosy Walkers' bar at rear of hotel has a wide selection of good ales, including Black Sheep and Old Peculier. They also serve some nice food if you fancy steering clear of the stove for the weekend! If you fancy coming along then you can just turn up, but if you want to make sure we know you're coming then just email us. The Venue
