Bath Open House
22nd - 24th February 2002
Organisers: Rosie Meade and Steve Forth
We'd like you to take this opportunity to visit Bath and its environs
(environs = Steve's pet word). The idea is that you can use us as
a cosy base to explore from.
Where?
Our house in Bath. (That's very South for those that are unsure).
Bath itself has lots of picturesque Roman and Georgian things and
even has 7 hills! So if we have bad weather or you just want to
fester there's lots to do and Bristol is only 20 mins away with
lots more such as Imax, SS Great Britain, Harvey's Bristol Cream
(yick, maybe not a selling piont).
For walking we have Mendips, Cheddar Gorge, Wiltshire white horses
and Stone Henge and Barrows and all that historical gubbins near
by.
It's very beautiful and always sunny. (Terms and conditions apply).
When?
Friday 22nd February to Sunday 24th. Or extend in either direction
if you wish.
Who?
Lots and lots of people so long as you don't mind sleeping on the
floor. This makes about 20 spots with a few more squeezed in if
you're feeling friendly. (very friendly).
Why?
Because we'd love to see you all and want an excuse to have a bit
of a party on the Sat night or all go out together, depends on numbers.
Let us know if you'd like to come and need directions or collecting
from the station (we can collect from Bath but also have a local
station...Oldfield Park...which is walking distance from the house).
